Where in years past therapy and nursing have been separated,
this years summit Hands-On portion will be more in-depth with real world scenarios where Therapy and Nursing working together to accomplish a task.
At the same time scenario leads will be discussing techniques on best practices to train out specific tools in the SPHM program. Train the Trainer Techniques...
Not only will you be learning from the presenters
but each others experiences and environments.

- 4:30-7:00 SPHM 101- Brand new to Safe Patient Handling and Mobility, program still hitting potholes, want to be brought up to speed on nationally recognized best practices... This 2.5 hours sets the baseline for program development, management and pitfalls that many programs hit. The speakers walk you through 25 cumulative years of SPHM programing, workers comp, measurables and equipment.
